Gilberts Tree aim to ship your products within 48 hours of receiving payment for goods. Shipping cannot take place until funds are transferred and payment is received.
Please ensure you provide a full and correct address for your shipped items. Gilberts Tree cannot be responsible for any errors in the given address or delays regarding incorrect address.
Delivery of goods will take approx 7-24 days international post & up to 7 days Australia wide. The shipping time can depend on the efficiency of your local post. If customs clearance policy is required (international post) your product may take longer for delivery to take place.
Note: Printed goods are delivered within 5 to 10 working days approx. from approval of artwork Australia Wide. International delivery will take longer as per above.
Gilberts Tree shipping prices are based on Australia Post estimates. They are generally structured by either Australia wide or International shipping prices. Our website combines weights and sizes to estimate the overall package cost. If you have any questions regarding shipping prices please let us know.
Gilberts Tree like to ensure your goods are packed carefully as required. If goods happen to break in the post, upon return of goods we will either refund or replace the product/s where possible (and within reason).
All payments must be cleared and received by Gilberts Tree before any goods can be shipped. Payment options are: Paypal, direct deposit, money order, or cheque. Our preferred international payment method is Paypal. Master & Visa card are accepted in store.
Return of Goods (Online)
In you are unsatisfied with your product, please contact us as soon as you receive the parcel & return the goods within 7 days for a full refund. The refund can be deposited into your bank account or refunded via Paypal as requested. This does not include printed goods that have been checked and approved (see above Artwork proofing Terms).
Return of goods (To Shop)
If you have bought an item from our shop, and get home to realise there is something wrong, we are more than happy to exchange it or provide you with a refund. For any refunds or exchanges, a till or eftpos receipt must be shown as proof of purchase. All original tags must remain on items for exchange or refund. All packaging must remain un-damaged and in good condition.
• We offer lay-by in store. A deposit of 15% or a minimum of $5 on smaller items (*non-refundable) is required for lay-by.
*If your lay-by is cancelled $5 becomes an administration fee which is non-refundable.
• When paying your lay-by, you will need to bring the attached lay-by docket. All monies received, will be marked off the amount owed. Upon final payment your goods will be given to you.
• Lay-bys can be held for up to 6 weeks.
• If after 6 weeks and no further payment has not been made from previous payment date, your lay-by shall be cancelled. All item/s you have placed on lay-by will be put back for sale.
• A refund can be given, upon you providing the lay-by docket and our records checked.

Items Out of Stock
As you know we carry a large range of items. Although we try to keep all website items in stock, alot of the stock is part of the (bricks and mortar) shop stock. This means that on occasion items will sell out and we will not have a chance to update the website. If you order something that becomes out of stock, we will provide you with a refund for any item/s not in stock that have been paid for at the time of shipping.
We try our best to reply to your emails as soon as possible, however, due to high volume of daily incoming emails and time zone difference, we may not be able to reply your emails immediately. The team of Gilberts Tree are available Monday to Friday 9:00 – 5:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Times. If you are an international customer please allow 24 hours for a response (a little longer if the weekend).
If you do not receive a reply from us, you may have problems receiving our emails and may need to use a different email account or method to contact us.
Artwork Proofing Terms
Please ensure your artwork is checked for design, spelling, size etc. and make any alterations where needed as the responsibility for its accuracy rests with you, our valued client. Unfortunately once the artwork is approved, Gilberts Tree cannot be responsible for any proofing errors that may have been missed.
Colours: We rely on you, our client to know and be aware of colours that are prone to vary and understand the variances that can occur with print. Although colours specified in artwork proofs are correct, these cannot be matched specifically to your screen or a job that has been printed previously. Colour variations may also vary from different printer calibrations along with the printing process itself.
Artwork Approval: In approving your artwork for print, you are verifying that all details on the artwork proof have been checked and are correct. You understand that Gilberts Tree can only match on the information given and they are not solely responsible for any colour errors. In approving your artwork, you understand that any changes after approval may incur charges. If a job has gone to print, and you need to make changes, the job may have to be reprinted incurring full cost of re-printing.
